Our Newest Jetsetter

On June 11, 2014 Charlotte Rose Eaton entered this world and we couldn’t be more in love!

7lbs 14 oz. 20.5 inch long, Lottie came out screaming at 11:48 AM. Family were all waiting in the waiting room for Josh to announce the gender! Every doctor and nurse at IU North was incredible. I consider myself so lucky to have the support and love around me today that I do.

I’ll share more about my birth story later, but in short, I was in labor for around 10 hours, pushed for about 30 minutes and she came out with miconium poop all over her:). No wonder she didn’t pass the non stress test, she was saying mommy get me out of here, I’m sitting in poop. Smart girl she is!

They cleaned both of us up, she latched on and ate right away and I ordered a delicious French toast meal from the kitchen. Hospital food and delicious don’t usually go together, but I promise this food is good!

Once we got upstairs our family met us in the room and the ooooo’ing and aaahhhhh’ing and cuddling began. We are lucky to have a lot of people who are giving Lottie and us a whole lotta love!!

Lottie was 6 days 14 hours old.
