Day 8: Kimmy Howard Photography
A few days earlier, Krista tagged me in a post that Kimmy Howard Photography posted up on Facebook to help with a secret project she was doing. She needed 1 boy and 1 girl, and asked that anyone interested email her a photo of their child along with their birthday. She wanted newborns, up to 12 days old. Luckily Lottie is super cute and was only 6 days old.
There were instantly a long list of comments of people interested, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try. So I sent off one of the camera shots I had taken of Lottie to her with a short note and her birthday. That evening I received a note from Kimmy saying she would email me tomorrow but Lottie was the front runner and how much she loved her name.
Three days later Josh and I were driving to Avon!
Lottie was chosen and we were getting a free newborn photo session from one of the best photographers in Indy – we were stoked! I had instructions to feed her well before we arrived, so we pulled off to feed her on the way there – pumped her full of milk and then went on to Kimmy’s house.
For 2 hours Lottie was perfect. She was DIAPERLESS for 2 hours. This is a girl who pees and poops constantly and I was shocked when 2 hours later she had yet to pee or poop on any of Kimmy’s beautiful blankets. I was SHOCKED, but it had to end eventually and as soon as Lottie got in her daddy’s hands she peed and pooped all over him. Good Job Lottie 🙂
The photos were such a success and we were so happy to have these photos of our little doll baby!
