Day 15: Lottie Goes to Meijer
Lottie and I took our first trip to grocery store. Of course it was one of the stormiest days with a torrential downpour and thunderstorms, but we were out of food and mentally I wanted to get through our first trip out to Meijer together, so we did. I brought her entire seat in with us so there wasn’t much room for many groceries, but she did great – didn’t fuss a bit! Every time we get out together I get that much more confident with us!
She is starting to have a fussy hour every evening. She will be a perfect angel all night and from 6 – 9 ish she will cluster feed… cry.. and cry… and cry.. and cry. Josh and I make a great team I think.. we take turns calming her and doing the swaddle, white noise, put her on her side and let her suck routine (thank you happiest baby on the block). It all works for a bit and then nothing works. I know she will grow out of this soon, but those 15 mintues of crying… feel like 15 hours.
She is a poop machine as I have mentioned before.. we change a diaper and she instantly fills the next one. Sometimes she pees or poops once we take her diaper off so in a 10 minute period we will go through 3 diapers and a few different outfits.
