Day 12: First trip to the Farmers Market
This mama was ready to get out of the house so Josh and I went on our first walk to the farmers market. She still doesn’t love being pushed in her stroller and prefers to be held close, so I wrapped her in the moby and went out on a 3.5 mile walk.
Everyone at the market thought she was the cutest – as we walked by we heard “so tiny” so precious”. I think people just aren’t use to seeing a baby so small out and about. With her little bow sticking out of the Moby I loved having her join us on the walk!
She had her first huge spit up all over me – luckily it’s not normal for her to spit up all over the place! She is more of a burper and farter, not so much spit up comes out of our little girl.
Breastfeeding is still a work in progress. Much harder than I thought. I have over supply and overactive let down, which means Lottie is gagging and constantly overwhelmed when she eats. I hate hearing her sound like she is in pain when she eats. I have gone to lactation meetings and talked to a few women – trying to get all the tips I can to make it a more enjoyable experience for Lottie and me! It’s still early… we will figure it out 🙂
One of my favorite moments in the day is watching Josh with Lottie. Josh is so good at calming her.
